In Ayurveda, there are many herbal plant that can cure almost all type of health problems. Palash is available all over India. Palash is also called “the flame of the forest” Due to the bright orange-red colors of its flowers. The parts of the herbs that are used for medicinal purposes are its flowers, roots, gum and bark in different form to cure major diseases such as liver problems, diabetes, skin problems, eye infections and sore throat. In India, Palash’s dried flowers are soaked into the water whole night and its saffron colored water is used for bathing of small children to protect them from different skin problems. Even saffron colored water is used to play Holi.
