Kapikachhu is an annual climbing shrub, which is mainly found in India, Africa and Caribbean. The plant is totally covered by hair when it young and older plants are free of it. Flowers are white and purple. The fruits are leguminous. Its seedpods are 10 cm long and covered with loose, orange hairs that cause a severe itch if they contact with skin. Kapikachhu is used to increases sperm count in men and ovulation in women, increases stamina, reduces inflammation, reduce fat. It is also used in reduces stress and anxiety.
